Every species worldwide is impacted by climate change. Rising temperatures and sea levels, less rain and more droughts. By 2100, an estimated 50% of all the world’s species could go extinct because of climate change.

More than 700 wildfires occur every year, burning down approximately 7 million acres of land and destroying more than 26,000 structures. Central and local organizations work together to control tens of thousands of fires each year. The U.S. spends over $5 billion dollars to fight fires each year.
ALL CHOKED UP
Air pollution is now the biggest environmental risk for early death, responsible for more than 6 million premature deaths each year from heart attacks, strokes, diabetes and respiratory diseases. That’s more than the deaths from AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria combined.
MAKE IT RAIN
Climate change is already affecting water access for people around the world, causing more severe droughts and floods. Increasing global temperatures are one of the main contributors to this problem. Climate change impacts the water cycle by influencing when, where, and how much precipitation falls.

About Carbon Zen

Carbon Zen was founded as a nonprofit organization by a group of concerned college students to promote climate responsibility and finally create positive and lasting progress  reducing carbon emissions. 

Let’s face it, it’s up to us to fix this mess for future generations. By using music events, positive culture, and aggressive activism, we can make the politicians listen in D.C. and around the world.

We all produce carbon emissions and have a carbon footprint. Carbon Zen funds projects that offset those emissions. CZ makes it easy and simple for individuals, families, and businesses to make a real positive impact on our environment.
